Stanford.[6][7][2] Lodis was a barber who started up an insurance company during the Great Depression.[8] In the early 1980s, Allen Stanford expanded the firm in Houston, Affiliated companies Stanford Financial Group is comprised of several affiliated companies: Stanford Capital Management, investment adviser, based on Houston[1] Stanford Group Company, broker-dealer, based in Houston Stanford International Bank, was started in 1986 in Montserrat where it was called Guardian International Bank.
