(March 2008) Langerado Music Festival is an annual music festival in South Florida, founded in 2003 by Ethan Schwartz of South Florida Jams Productions and Mark Brown of Brown Coffee Productions. For the last two years the festival has been held at every spring at Markham Park. In 2008 the festival was held at the Seminole Big Cypress Indian Reservation in the Everglades. This is the same site as the Phish New Years Eve 1999 festival. The festival features primarily music of the jamband genre, but also offers a wide selection of other musical styles and has traditionally offered a stage for local bands, as well. The main attractions of the festival are multiple stages of live music featuring a new-age assortment of music acts. Craftsman and artisans selling unique products, food and drink vendors, and other activities from various sponsors are offered. In 2009 the festival was planned to move to Miami, which caused huge controversy among fans who dislike the direction the festival is heading, Past Langerado Festivals 2009 Langerado Music Festival 2008 Langerado Music Festival 2007 Langerado Music Festival 2006 Langerado Music Festival 2005 Langerado Music Festival 2004 Langerado Music Festival 2003 Langerado Music Festival References ^ http://www.langerado.com/2009/langerad09.php?sec=13&id=83 External links Langerado Official Website Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langerado" Categories: Langerado Music Festival | Festivals in Florida | Music festivals in the United States | Rock festivals | Rock festivals in the United States | Recurring events established in 2003 Hidden categories: Cleanup from November 2008 | All pages needing cleanup | Articles lacking sources from March 2008 | All articles lacking sources | Articles lacking reliable references from June 2007 | ||||
